The Trails of Ceylon is an independent travel resource dedicated entirely to Sri Lanka — one of the world's most extraordinary yet underrated destinations. Our mission is simple: to help travellers discover, plan and experience the very best that this remarkable island has to offer.

Sri Lanka has everything — ancient ruins, misty highlands, golden beaches, incredible wildlife and some of the world's most vibrant food culture — all packed into a compact island you can explore in any direction. Yet despite all of this, it remains refreshingly uncrowded and genuinely affordable compared to many other tropical destinations.
